Vax Central Launches its Vaccine tracking software.

2 min read

Vax Central is Australia’s first public initiative to assist employers with managing the staff vaccination process. Op Central, a top operations, training, and compliance management software firm, released the technology as part of the professional vaccination effort. This comes as Australian states are preparing to open their doors for clients and staff who have been vaccinated.

The platform handles the collection, protection and reporting of data related to staff vaccinations.

James Cotton, Op Central Chairman, stated that Vax Central was created on the belief that high vaccination rates were essential for businesses to reopen. When it comes to vaccination, we must work together and think smarter. It is just as important to think about the management of vaccination as the actual vaccination. The only way to ensure that Australian businesses and their people recover is through vaccination. Vax Central plays an important part in this success story.

Employers and employees will find the service simple and straightforward, with a focus on security and ease. Op Central clients number more than 13,000. Businesses can sign up for Vax Central individually for $29 AUD per monthly for up to 10 employees, or $0.15 per user for larger companies.

Josh Cairns, founder of Op Central, stated that Vax Central offers businesses a secure and user-friendly way to upload, store and report their vaccine data. It takes less than ten seconds to create a company-branded portal, and only 60 seconds to activate a staff member’s account and upload their vaccine certificates. This reduces administrative time.

This platform can be customized with company branding and allows businesses to set up data management settings, import staff via a common CSV file, and customise the portal. The staff will receive an email with company branding inviting them to activate their private accounts and submit their vaccination information via a secure webform. This system will make salons and other retail and hospitality businesses more efficient as new industries emerge and allow them to operate in this environment.

“This is a challenging time for both the franchising community as well as small businesses. “Using innovative technology to support vaccination rollout across franchises will help us all get back to work as soon as we can,” stated Mary Aldred, Chief Executive of Franchise Council of Australia.

All data uploaded to the service is stored in Australia and subject to privacy and data protection laws. Vax Central allows businesses to retain 100% ownership of their data prior, during, and afterwards they use the platform. You can also set data visibility control settings to allow businesses to limit who has access to your vaccination data.

Josh stated that Vax Central was the only 100% Australian-owned and operated business. It is a secure system that allows companies to monitor and report which employees have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at a site, individual, or company-wide level.
